Jennifer Irwin is JIP Legal's principal, with over 15 years' experience in corporate law .  Highly skilled and experienced, her legal expertise is drawn from working with top tier clients in two of Australia’s leading firms Minter Ellison and DLA Pipers, specialising in corporate transactional work, corporate governance and M&A, working as in-house counsel for a nationally recognised client and 8 years in corporate management positions prior to becoming a commercial lawyer.

In addition to a full time legal practice, Jennifer is engaged by Swinburne University Law School in the following roles:

• convenor and lecturer of the Commerical Law Unit;

• engaged to develop and implement the Practical Legal Skills Program for Contract Law students; and
• Committee member of the Practical Legal Skills Program Committee developing the program to teach practical skills across the law degree.
