Fees

JIP Legal knows uncertainty of fees is a significant concern of clients when engaging a law firm.  JIP Legal offers:
  • fixed fee arrangements for individual transactions*;
  • consulting package paid monthly which covers advice and document preparation^;
  • fixed price package for start ups;
  • set price fees for standard** forms of documentation such as employment agreements, contractor agreements, website terms and conditions and privacy policies; and
  • traditional billing based on an hourly rate.
 * If a fixed fee quote is requested I will include a scope of services.  It is important to check the scope of services carefully, as once agreed this forms the basis of the arrangement.  If the client changes the scope of services, which occurs from time to time or during the matter, the client requires additional work to be performed which was not allowed for in the scope specified, additional fees will apply.

** All standard forms of documentation are tailored to address the issues and risks specific to your business.  Please don't misunderstand and equate 'standard form' with lawyer just changes names and prints document.
